The struggle to do something you love part 2

So here it is another decision..... I received a reply to my e-mail today from Uni Glam's head of Forensic Science department, it was not the news I was hoping to get. I was basically told that I could not transfer, to their foundation course in Forensic Science because I didn't have the C at GCSE Maths. I am now left with the decision of staying on at Lampeter to complete this foundation year knowing that it would not get me onto a degree course or leave and try to get on a course that would allow me to get onto the BSc Foundation Forensic course leading to the degree at Uni Glam. I have a million and one people telling me to stay for the experience of Higher Education but I can't really afford to complete this year then pay for another foundation course and then a three year degree course. I also want to go on to study post graduate study and PhD so back to the dilemma do I stay or do I leave and try to pass that GCSE Maths?
